posture correction body mapping
One of the best ways to start posture correction is becoming more aware of what you are doing with your body. Body Mapping is a process that helps a person to correct injury producing movement or postures. It is based on the premise that people often have an incorrect perception of how the body is structured and consequently use it improperly.

http://www.bodymap.org is the website for body mapping. It contains some interesting info on the principle:-

The body map is one’s self-representation in one’s own brain. If the body map is accurate, movement is good. If the body map is inaccurate or inadequate, movement is inefficient and injury-producing. In Body Mapping, one learns to gain access to one’s own body map through self-observation and self-inquiry.”

The site doesn’t use the words posture correction, but I think that may due to negative connotations associated with the word “posture”. In fact the word “posture” only mentioned very scarcely on the entire website. However, if for someone were to ask me which is the best posture correction method available, I would highly recommend Body Mapping.
