Interesting Posture Correction Story

I was just reading this story about how the Alexander technique helped a lady recover from chronic neck and back pain. It took over five years to recover from her lack of mobility that stopped her playing the piano. In the end she became an Alexander technique teacher practising out of Alameda, CA.
I have heard so many stories about people who have recovered from debilitating back pain, and then went on to become teachers of the Alexander technique because of the empression it left. It would make an interesting survey to see just how people found out about the Alexander technique. I’d guess that around 50% of teachers find the technique as a matter of necessity i.e. following chronic back pain, a car crash, etc.
